Just a bit of food and drink for thought really.
You may have come across the Economist’s famous Big Mac Index showing the price in US$ of a horse burger around the world and the inferred under or over-value of the currency exchange rate.
Here’s the latest one I could find, from January 2013;
The Aussie dollar looks about 15% over-valued going on that.
The Wall Street Journal have published the Starcunts equivalent (h/t Zerohedge);
Interesting differences between the two lists. My hypothesis is that the first is an index of food prices for stupid people with comparatively little money and the latter is an index of the price of a frothy adult milkshake for stupid people with slightly more money projecting an unrealistic aspirational lifestyle expectation on a shit cup of “coffee”.
Also, I think there’s only 3, possibly 4 Starcunts in Sydney because, amazingly, most people know they can get a better coffee almost anywhere else.
